Welcome to Crossroads Chiropractic and Wellness, PLLC. Your first appointment is very important to us. It involves information gathering, consultation, an examination, and if time is warranted and imaging is not required, an initial treatment of your underlying condition.
In order for us to use every essential moment of your appointment, we ask that you please bring with you a photo ID, your insurance card(s), and any other records or tests related to your complaint. This information is necessary for office billing purposes and record keeping.
We would also greatly appreciate it if you could please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We will use this time to fill out our information sheet to keep the schedule of you and the clinic intact. Thank you very much for your cooperation and we look forward to treating you!
What To Expect – First Appointment
At your initial consultation, the doctor will perform a thorough clinical assessment to evaluate your condition and determine the root cause of your pain/injury. This will be followed by soft tissue and joint mobilization/manipulation through a hands-on approach to improve function, range of motion and decrease pain in the target area and the surrounding tissue.
When appropriate, a customized set of exercises and stretches will be prescribed to help speed recovery and prevent future injuries. Please wear athletic clothing or lose fitting clothes to each of these appointments.
- The focus is on diagnosing and treating current conditions: resolving inflammation, irritation, and pain as well as releasing nerve impingement, joint dysfunctions, and muscle dysfunctions.
- We spend significant one-on-one time with every patient.
- You’ll always be treated by a doctor who is an expert in the latest and most effective approaches to joint and soft tissue injuries.
- Most insurance is accepted and no referral is necessary to schedule an appointment.
