Level One is a two day class that must be attended by all students wanting to get TPI Certified. There are seven advanced specialty tracks (each with a Level 2 and Level 3 class) that can be selected and attended by students once they are TPI certified.
The seven areas of expertise include: Golf Mechanics, Golf Coaching, Medical Professional, Fitness Professional, Junior Coach, Biomechanics and Power Coach. All workshops include a comprehensive training manual and a certification code to sit our on-line certification test. World renown experts, from 5 continents and over 20 countries have helped develop the core curriculum that all TPI professionals learn in the certification process.
To become TPI Certified all professionals must complete a minimum of 16 hours of lectures and intense hands-on training. The certification process is final after the golf, health or fitness professional passes an on-line examination with an 80% grade. In order to maintain their active TPI certified credentials, all professionals are required to participate in 12 additional hours of continuing education each year.
Gaining the TPI certification gives the health, fitness or golfing professional the skills to perform a golf-specific physical examination, analyze 3-D motion capture data to measure swing efficiency and design a customized workout program to improve a golfer’s overall performance. If you are looking to take your golf game to the next level, make sure a TPI Certified professional is part of your team.
